I was born in Caracas, Venezuela. I studied a bachelor’s degree in Social Communication at Andrés Bello Catholic University (UCAB). During my years as a journalist I was a reporter for El Ucabista, UCAB’s newspaper, I worked there for 3 years. Later I worked at El Nacional, as a journalist for the “International” information section. At this time I also worked as freelance writing for the Venezuelan magazine “El Mundo de la Seguridad”.
After my experience in press media, I began my career at the TV as a Producer and International Press Reporter for El Observador at Radio Caracas Televisión (RCTV). I was also the Producer and Reporter of the Siete Sobre Siete Program, a space dedicated to the analysis of international news and dealing with topics such as: terrorism, Latin American politics, among other aspects. At this time (2003) I also studied a Master’s Degree at the Central University of Venezuela (UCV), on Politics and International Law.
In 2005 I accepted the position of General Producer in the Caracas Metropolitan Channel (CMT). There I was in charge of producing three programs simultaneously: “Qué teodoro says”, an information and opinion program carried out by the famous Venezuelan politician and presidential candidate Teodoro Petkoff. “Compás Internacional”, was an international analysis program, produced by the famous internationalist Ítalo Luongo and myself. I also did the “Grandes Musicales” program with the entertainer and model Andreína Veliz. At this time and along with my work at CMT, I worked at Union Radio as a Producer for the renowned Venezuelan journalist, Napoleón Bravo.
In 2006, the political situation in Venezuela with the dictatorship of Hugo Chávez worsened dramatically and led to the censorship of many media, some of them even closed their doors, such as: RCTV and CMT, so I started a new job as Creative Producer in another important Venezuelan channel, Televen. At Televen, I used my experience as a journalist and press producer to start writing promotions for novels, movies and important international series such as: Cold Case, CSI Miami, among others; Here, with the excellent creative team of this station, I carried out several channel presales and promotional campaigns for some of its clients and advertisers, including Procter and Gamble. I was in charge of developing Dove’s “You Know Real Beauty” campaign and its launch for Venezuela through Televen.
In December 2007, I moved to Miami, Florida and have since lived in the United States. Upon arrival here, I worked with Upstairs, a major post-producer of film and television commercials under the direction of Anabella Sosa and Wally Rodríguez. In this prost-producer I had the opportunity to work with great clients from the world of music and cinema, among them the Oscar winner for best actor, Adrien Brody.
In 2009, I started doing freelance jobs in Miami as a Multimedia Journalist and TV Producer. I have worked as a “Child Labor Coordinator” for MTV Tr3`s, also as a reporter and communication advisor for the bilingual newspaper Hola Latinos News. I wrote for over a year for the Doral Kids Ideas website and some of my work here was also published in the Doral city newspaper, Doral Family Journal. I worked as a Content Producer and Social Media Manager for different clients and companies in the city of Miami: Leon Medical Center, Beltran Brito Immigration Attorneys, Ogangi Corporation, Barnett Capital Bank and Venezuela al Día newspaper. This work was done with 3Kats Intelligent Media. In addition, I also collaborated as a reporter for the newspaper Venezuela Al Día.
In the academic field, I took a course on HTML, CSS3 and Java Script language at the University of Miami, Florida. I also did a Postgraduate degree at the University of Barcelona in Community Manager & Social Media.
In 2015 I wrote my first book, a children’s story “The Little Elephant Lost”Since 2017, I am a collaborator in Mega TV of the Program Ahora with Oscar Haza.
